.....spare servo motors kits you have lying around.
Got my DT through it's MoT and insured, just need to wait for the new V5 and number now. Also got a pink seat cover ready to fit when the weather turns better and I have some matching fork gaiters.
I still want to get a power valve servo for this. If you have one please let me know! I did a 36 mile round trip to my 'nearest' MoT shop and a bit more zing would be nice.
A servo wont make it any quicker or more powerful whatsoever.............
Hi Scrims, I know what you're saying, and I understand that with the valve pegged open it will give the same max output. I haven't actually tried it yet with the valve pegged open but the broader power band is appealing. I've taken the restrictor out of the exhaust pipe but the valve is still in the learner legal position. Like that I can get 55/60mph or 65mph with a tailwind or downhill. It is obviously still tractable at low speeds and that will be convenient for the commuting work I have in mind (and probably the lanes too) but I would like to keep that low speed user-friendliness as well as the wide open throttle buzz. I weigh a bit more now than the last time I rode a power valve kitted DT but I do know there is more to be had without sacrificing the 'round town' easy power. That's why I'm leaning more and more towards spending the money on a kit like the one offered to me by deeteemx who replied to my wanted ad!
If there IS a cake, why can't I have it AND eat it?
