just had full toped (done 350mile on new top end)

when i start my bike on side stand it will start second kick,  then as i stand it up straight and flick stand up it cuts out and won't start for about 20 kicks, (but will not start of a bump)

20 kicks though? Side stand switch would be my first point of call. If it fires up straight away then cuts out the minute the stand flicks up then my money would be on the side stand switch. With the information you have given.

Could be a faulty neutral switch. Always thinking you're in gear.

What I did with mine was just cut the wires to it and join them together.

Check earth is clean also take the plug out and see if it's sparking or not every kick.

If it 100% won't bump i'm pretty sure it has to be the sidestand switch, wire it like I said.

Just follow the wires up the frame under the seat unclip the clip from the loom cut both wires a few inches from the connector block and join them together and reconnect it to the loom.

Just remove the neutral relay and try it. Similar problem I had with mine, the connector and relay were rotten so I simply cut it off and just taped up the wires.

Side stand just snip and join - job done.

Failing that, it's had a top end rebuild recently? Have you re-torqued the head & cyclinder bolts? Could be pulling water into the cyclinder. Is there any oil/crud in the radiator?
