rattling and cylinder marks

Hi i have done a top end rebuild now, rebored barrel too 57 mm. the bike started at the first try but after a little time it made a rattling sound.  took the top off and piston was fine but as you can see in the video there is some marks above the exhaust port and the port right across it and some small stripes. Is this ok? or what could be the problem now ................

Had the ports been chamfed when they the cylinder went for a rebore?

How rattly was it?

Did you reuse the small end bearing?

Did the rings move when installing them?

Did you measure the piston ring end gap?

I watched the video on my phones 3G so the quality wasn't great but it looks okay. But weird that its damaged already.

I'll have another look on my computer when I get a chance.

yeah they had been chamfed. not very rattly, no i did not reuse my old small end bearing.   I had some problems with the bottom piston ring but i think i got it in its groove without moving, if not what happens? does it move around  or ? :P

If you measured the piston ring end gap mate and it was within tolerance then no.
