hi as the title says, after i washed my bike and took it for a spin my lights turn off at higher rpms, didnt stop the engine until i was home then i took the igniton off and on and then there was no life, no lights no cleaning cycle. i checked my fuse and it was destroyed, i changed it , drove the bike carefully, but thats it. its fine now but im afraid it will go when i open the throttle again.... as mentioned this happened after i washed it today, what and where should i look for ?  and would i have spark if this happened again?

The fuse might blow again. So what? It will still kick over and work. There won't be any life but I wouldn't worry about that.

Electrical problem, could be anything. From your description, it's likely you got water someqhere the bike didn't like. Causedd a fault to earth, earth being the frame caused a huge current and blowing the fuse. Because you are on the bike. On rubber not touching the ground you would be insulated from the shock. I wouldn't let it worry you. Happens to me as well. I have got a lot of botched wiring so I could pin point my fault.

the earth wire to the rectifier was broken on some spots. also the wire had become lose where it is screwed in place at the rectifer propably not tightened enough couldnt see it before i wiggled the wire .  so now i will remember to double check that nothing is hanging loose :)
