how should the gear shaft sit on the drum

hi was testnig to shift down to 1 whiile i was installing my clutch after kickstart assembly. when i shifted and tried shifting up again it didnt work. the gear selector thing at the clutch side is stuck against the clutch basket thing. anyone got a picture of how to set up gear selector on the drum in first gear?

Ok so this one in the side case keeps it from coming out? that was what caused my problem, that the case was not on
