how do i know where to get the correct spokes from

ok my question is, lets say i aave a kawasaki hub and i want to lace an unknown sm rim onto it, would just any spokes with collect lenght and wight fit or do i get the spokes that are for kawasaki hub or do i find out what rim is this and than get the spokes for the rim?

Loose Spokes

I've noticed that i have quite a few loose spokes, problem is that the spokes turn when i try and tighten them. The spokes (including threads) had been painted silver by a previous owner, ive cleaned up the threads with a wire brush and given them a spray with wd40, but still they just spin. Anyone else...

My bike MOT is due and i have 5 loose front spokes which i inteded to tighten when i replaced the front trye but now ive realised they are seized solid with rust. How to tighten spokes?

Today when I was at college chaining my bike up I noticed one of the spokes on my front wheel is incredibly loose... how would I tighten it up? And why would it be loose in the first place? Found out the front tyre only had 7psi in it the other day aswell. I need to check the bike over more often!
