i have a 56 plate tdr125 and i wonderd if any 1 nows how to desrecticit i have a custom end can that cums out under seat but thats bout it any help would b greatly apprecated thanks need more speed

Turn the powervalve 180 degrees cut out cat from expantion chamber and rejet.....
im looking into making underseat exhaust but its not simple...

 ive just fitted 320 main jet and put a pipercross air filter on im doin the cat 2moz i made my underseat exhurste it looks loads better im makin a l.e.d back light that fits above the exhurste aswell ive tried to put sum pics on but i carnt seen to get it to work lol

When you did the underseat exhaust did you make the pipe longer?

the bike will run a lot better with the cat gone mine did
keep an eye on ebay for a 32/34mm carb thats a good hop up m8 or do what ive done and fit a 4dl tzrr engine

all you would need to do is fit the 4dl tzr topend to your dtr engine, was one on ebay last week but i missed it:(
the 4dl top end is a nicisil barrel and already got sorted ports and a better compression ratio to
Also available on some 4fl models.

I look forward to seeing some pics of your tdr mods though, make sure you post em ;)

 yh i did make the pipe longer but used a thiner internal pipe so the bk pressure i lost in the lenght i made bk up wiv the thiner pipe thanks for the info the head i got on now is a 4fu i think, i got the led light fitted now so the pics wil b on for 2moz how do i link the pics to the forum i got sum on the site but dont no how to link them thanks again any info is greatly appreciated what is the diffrence between the top ends ?

ive just bin told that boyesen power reeds from a yz125 wil also fit i no that thay make them for a dtr125 but would the yz 1s make it any quicker than the dtr 1s ?

4dl top end is a 3mb and is steel lined the one you want is the 4dl sp 4fu top end and to be frank that wont do nowt on the tdr/dt gearbox as all the gearing is different so it would still be better to get the whole 4dl engine
the 4dlsp engine has diff ports/gearing and diff reed intake as well
the tdr with a 4fu top end will only put out around 26bhp the 4dl engine will put out around 30 bhp the sp version around 33bhp ive ridden all 3 engines and can tell ya that the sp kicks ass.

@tdr125 what dia pipe did you use as i wanna do my underseat exhaust its gonna be a twin MMMMmmmmm

i used 22mm pipe but the pipe u use will depend on how ur goin to do ur end cans ive got a short box one on mine so to keep the back pressure i used thin pipe and kept the same area volume for the end can ive put sum pics on if u wanna have a look  this  is the first bike ive done so it was all trail and error but i like it let me no what u fink

p.s ive got all the  bk end plastics for sale if any 1 is intrested

the silencer will be same length but twice as wide put it this way it will fit into the fairing were the light fits......or just under that ut slighty wider.....

Bike looks ok not to sure on the back end but then im used to the way the standard tdr looks  front fairing is how im gonna do mine :) im liking the underseat exhaust....

i wasnt sure on the bk end but its grown on me. if u get the sizes of a profomance can that fits the tzr and work out the internal volume then ul get smilier proformace to what ud get from the sports cans try to keep ur pipe work as straght as possible as it will give it better flow the more bends in it will restrict the flow
