Bought my 1990 DTR as an off-roader from ebay - what a state!! Everything hand painted, silencer attached with a door hinge! Wrong forks and front wheel fitted. Still wanted to use it as an off-roader so resprayed the tank black, bought new black pattern plastics from a guy in Portugal, and a YZ front plate, Acerbis Fenders & Handguards, recovered the seat (guy in Portugal does seat covers for £10!!), turned power-valve 180 deg and took out plates from the exhaust. Also had to restore the braking system and added a chrome DTR plate to the top of the front brake resevoir tank as a custom job. Looks interesting in Yellow & black and a bit of a head turner. Just about to fit a full DEP and power valve motor. Really enjoying it as an off-roader. Now have a 1992 DTR for the road that is also going through a clean up!
