Indicators should I imagine fit ok to the sides of the light holder if you are using smaller ones, I would be tempted to put some rubber mounts in if you are using mini-indies as they tend to blow bulbs often if not careful.

its not about how easy a job is m8 something that may be easy to some may be a headache to others you cant go round insulting people being mr master mechanic like that cos people will just take you for an idiot

im guessing what pat wants is piece of mind that his bike aint gonna fook up 30 mins down the road and if paying to get it fitted is what he wants to do thats his business the idea of forums like this is to help each other out so we all get the most out of it

childish comments like that aint gonna help anyone but remember what goes around comes around you may need help someday too no

It doesnt bother me Baz but thankyou for putting your view across people like that just make me laugh too, Mr know it all's etc, more like a Yawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn boring, but yeah it is peace of mind, I would rather give it to someone who knows everything about bikes then try and do it myself, and wreck the electics, I got to wait to the 18th of april though dam it, to get it all sorted, so got the enduro headlight to put on the tail tidy, and acerbis black fork covers to get put on too, no doubt will wack some acerbis handguards on aswell, cos I like how they are in the pics on this topic biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I am deffo stuck now I rang these people up (link below) about them acerbis handguards, and they seem to think them ones in the link below wont fit my DT, which makes me wonder which acerbis ones has the DT got in this topic and where and what price did he pay?? smile

are you using stock or renthal bars pat the acerbis stuff is usually universal and can normally be fitted to anything with a bit of real minor modification

its not the bar baz mate its the length of the mount and the levers might be abit to long, thats what it looks in the dt pics on here his put extentions on it somehow either that or his got a really expensive pair :)

hmmm suppose you could weld some extensions on steel bars but ally would be a ballache

ive got low rise renthals on mine and i have an old type pair of acerbis handguards i have test fitted them and they do fit although i did have to mess a bit with the front brake so it didnt get in the way

i think it may be a job and a half to find an exact set to fit what i would suggest is buy the style you want and do whats needed to make them fit you may find that it may not be as bad as what you think to fit them

I hope not Baz mate, after ringing up these companies who sell them they dont even have a clue about them either, it must be getting the right length as looking on the acerbis website for handguards, (link below) some come in different length all you do with the mounting is angle it slightly surely?
