Looks in good shape for an older model mate. nice buy. Infact it looks in better shape than mine. Can i swap you the CDI from my 01 :P.

No i was joking the CDI unit out of a 98 is supposed to be unrestricted thats why i was asking for a swap :). The best things you can do is follllow advice on this site and buy a DEP, ARROW, BIG ONE exhaust or get your front pipe deristricted and a buy a dep silencer.

looks and sounds like it should, is the snorkel removed?

it looks stock, you should customize it if you ask me.
