I have but it all seems to be mixed comments that its cdi that restricts the revs, powervalve, air filter etc i would like my bike to rev to the red line like other peoples bikes... but i havent found anything that tells me how to..

Ok it revs to just under 9000 revs in first and when you go to 2nd you can feel it had alot more power for a sec but it drops down to 7 and wont go over! is the exhuast restriction causing this? or the powervalve?

not sure mate, what do you eman exactly ? will it go past 2nd gear and rev in 3rd ?

,have oyu ajusted the power valve ? make sure its in the propper way,the pastic thing with the pulleys is in the exact proper position, and the 2 holes line up,and the pulleys are tightened the the correct amount and not too tight or loose

yer the powervalve is set up correctly and the servo controls it... i manged to get it to rev past 7000 it revs to about 9000 now all i did was dissconnect the battery and reconnect i'm guessing the cdi had an error log or something and was stopping it reving past 7000 so disconnecting the battery reset the cdi... i read that the cdi's are restricted on this year is it possible to get them programed so they dont restrict? what miles per gallon should i be getting with this bike as it seems to drink the petrol very quickly i only use it for driving round feilds.

I think you can buy a cdi unit off of a earlier model bike and fit that to it(there not restricted) have a look on fleabay,my bike drinks the petrol too,ive heard people saying they get over 100miles out of there dt but i cant out of mine.

ah yer i read about doing that i would buy one if it was that easy but i think you have to swap the whole wiring harness aswell... will have a better look into that.. the rubber exhuast join thing that seals the exhuast is missing on mine and some of the fumes come out of there would that effect the power of the bike?

yes it will defo have a small affect on the performance of your bike,my front dep pipe has a small hole in and although i can still get 80mph out of it im still losing some of the compression.Get the rubber exhaust thingy.
