Hello people....I've got a 13 tooth front sprocket and 46 rear, was considering getting either a 14 or 15 tooth front sprocket, what d'you think?  Not after blistering speeds, I'd just like it to be able to cruise at 65/70 without thrashing the engine so much.  I've got a '99 DTR just fitted a full DEP exhaust, no other mods.  The bike does about 75 at 9000rpm, haven't had it long so I haven't had it flat out yet.  D'you reckon it's worth it?  Also...has anybody tried rotating the powervalve 180 degrees like it says in the destricting part on the DTR page, and what do they reckon?
Cheers!

have a search and read around on here, theres lots of info

remove your power valve cover via 1 of the allen keys so you can see the servo pulley thing, then start the bike and rev the engine

if the power valve starts turning as soon as soon as you rev, then its set up for the valve to give faster acceleration

or...if it starts turning when it revs over 6500rpm then its already been turned 180, so the power valve kicks in then at the top scale of each gear
