Hi, I've bought a 1998 DTR recently. I've read nearly all of your stuff about DT125R, it's very nice site.
But my bike's lost something before. In the left of the bike's tail (near the reserve coolant, beside the white neutral relay, there's a 4-wires black jack, I guess it's a missing relay but I'm not sure. Searching all the wiring diagram about DTR, I still cannot know what it it.
It has 4 wires: B/Y, double Sb, L/W and a Br.
The bike has a electric starter, and it doesnot operate until I wire the L/W & Br of that jack.
The YPVS doesnot operate also (3-wires servo motor), if I turn on the switch, it closes then opens but when I start the engine & rev up, it's idle all the time. The YPVS motor has a Br/B jack and a B/Y wire comes from CDI. That B/Y wire, same color as the one in the black jack, but they're not connected. So I think the missing relay causes the YPVS & electric starter not to operate.
Can sb give me some help, or give me the exact wiring diagram of the 1998 DTR, all the 1997-on wiring diagram are not exact for my bike. Thanks a lot !
No one has the same problem of me ? Can sb measure the voltage of Black/Yellow wire from CDI to servo motor (3-wires servo motor) when starting engine and revving up.
