far from mate !!

been out this arvo and its now unreal, i pulled my 1st ever wheelie on it earlier , it wants to pop up in 1st and 2nd , my mate whos a lot lighter than me had a quick go earlier ina car park n reckons it would pop up in 3rd with him on if he tried properly

its got power all the way if youc hange gear right, only low power bits are if your slow in a high gear, i would be an animal off road !!

its made it a totaly different beast now , power in every gear and she flys ,even in 6th its got power at 75

once i got a bigger main het in it tomorrow hopefully, its not gonna splutter when it reaches 10k and its gonna have even more power and rev out in every gear, if it does 75 like this comfortably , its gotta be good for 80-85 !!

cant wait to get that jet in

Glad to hear you happy mate :), Ive just been out on an 80 mile run and am getting sick of cars over taking me up hills when mae bike only does 50 lol :).

Do you think pinning the PV will help in its self or will I need the de-restricted CDI unit as well?

yes mate do the pv properly - dissconect the 2 servo pulley wires fromt he plastic thing, put finger in the manifold, make sure its flush , then what i did was get a  screw that fitted 2 holes in the servo palstic bit and behind, chop it with a chisel and hammer so it is just the right length so it pokes out but will sit against the power valve casing cover with the 2 alum key bolts in, make sure when its pegged in place the valve is flush in the manifold, and put the casing on

do that and see how it rides , then go from there , my front pipes defo restricted and have the big one rear and this new cdi

but im not 100% certain the new cdi i bought and put in is what helped or if my old one would of been the same...but im sure as hell not gonna bother changin it back to find out !

to do that pv will take ya no time at all , and by doing that that stops the cdi being able to tell the servo to shut the power valve anyway !

Its strange really tho, ive got a 2001 dtr, when i got the bike originally all i done was disconnected sevo and open up power valve, and fitted dep system, and the bike was a beast, revving upto 12k 85 mph +
