hi, just got a DT X.

I am planning on deristricting the CDI, earthing the green and black wire.
And removing the airbox snorkal under the seat, and i also want a full dep system, due to my brother having one on his KMX.

I belive the RE and the X are the same, but where can i get one from?

But what size jet, i am thinking goin with a 230 as the standard one is 210.

Would like expert help!

there is no point re-jetting it buddy... just de-restrict it and add a full dep

what about it running to lean though, i will remove the snorkal when i but the DEP on!

Cheers. if you put on a DEP system, and remove the snorkal you should at lest use a 250jet.
my bike was almost to lean with 270,DEP, and removed snorkal. I did put back on the snorkal caus it only create sound, and no effect.. now my bike runs very good with 240 jetting and DEP. the best combination I think..

But No one has a true and accurate answer!

I have found a full system on adreline pedstop...
But what do i do abouit the pipe coming out of the exhuast at the top by the manifold!

due you mean the rubber one that goes to the small bottle bolted the frame i just blocked it off and its been fine so far

no, the resinator pipe, that come of a few inches from the top of the exhuast manifold back up, jus right of the petrol tank?

And someone must know what size jet for a full DEP and removed snorkal

the dep pipe shouldent make a difference with jet sizes m8 removing the snokel shouldent make that much difference either

the answear is easy just get all your stuff fitted and buy a few jets each one the next size up from the last and try it and see which is best everyone will have there own opinion on what size you need and it will just make you more confused biggrin
