To what? If you want the older unrestricted cdi then you have got to change the loom too.

yes to an older cdi,yes i know you change the but want to know if anyone made the change on here and if so wat difference

I've done it on my 01.Makes the bike as quick as the pre 97 models.80-85mph on the flat and 2nd gear wheelies no probs.Its easiest to swap the switchgear too as the connectors are different but it can be done with the newer stuff.The rest is fairly straightforward.Totally removes all restrictions bar the exhaust.

what switch gear you talking about?? evey thing on handle bars

Only the left hand one IIRC.The one that does all the lights, indicators.The ignition switch is a different connector too but can be cut and joined to the older loom.Everything else is the same
