early bikes had a slightly higher max HP figure for un-restricted output ..

But they are getting tired now !


But 04 to 07's ...

From what im told ... Pea / H (who is selling the Monster BlackGreen 'X' i might add ! hmm) ...
When CDi / PV restriction is by passed [wire, earth, speedo]
Bike Flies !!!
When DEP full sys {Pea}
Really flies ..
When Stan Stephens St'2 Kitted .. {Pea}
?????
as we are awaiting run in & report !!!

I still don't get WHY Reed Switch on some later 'Mid' Bikes ?
If CDi is restricting PV opening
{as im asssuming on Early "mid" batch}

?????????

Clever folk these chineese !!!!There must be a difference between the Cdi's on Reed Valve models & none RV models ..Japs must have known Reed switch would be found & frigged in no time

04 electrics will work on an earlier bike cos its essentially the same motor.I don't know what will be needed other than the full loom.Probably need matching switchgear with it and the ignition too.
The problem is finding bits of the loom are in a different place to your original so may need some thought to locate cdi,regulator,extending wires etc but should work ok.
