I sure did mate, apart from the indicators, but you can get carbon indicators anywhere you like as you know, your be fine with it, it is straight forward when you do it, any probs mate let me know if your gonna do the red/white handguards or white/red to match your bike I have found 1 on ebay they seem quite rare though them colours
Thanks mate , hmm tbh I thought the handguards connected at the bar ends as well . Quite like the look of the ones that connect that way but I'm sure I'll run into problems .
The indys I'm glad can be attached other than using the OEM indicator brackets , saves me £20 on them alone .
Deffi getting the headlight though in White , looks mint . Sorry man last question and I'll leave you alone . What price range am I looking at fir the headlight ? Seen the same set at random different prices , want to make sure I get the right ones .
Its cool mate, I dont mind you asking, you ask what you like, the headlights go for about 30 quid including post & packing on ebay, so around that price is cool, if your gonna get the same one as mine but in white, your have to do alittle bit of spraying in the middle as it has black in it, but surely your be fine doing that...........Pic below
Dammit , finally found the headlights then find out they aren't actually street legal mate . Not that I really care but it might give me problems come MOT time . But the other designs are **** !! LOL
Well I took mine mate to a main bike dealers in the city of brighton called bikes of brighton, when I asked them about it they told me they wouldnt have no problem with it in a MOT, but I know you will get the odd garage who wont do it, but still you should be ok, will look class on your bike thats the main thing!!!
Been looking at a few others now mate , the Acerbis ones are a bit dear at the moment and I can always change later on down the road .
Polisport do a set of guards that LOOK like the Acerbis ones but wrap all the way around , I think it'll suit the SM look a bit better . And they're only £12 lol
They also do a headlight for £50 but need to do more homework on it , wiring etc .
Acerbis rally is what id eventually like to have , but the £70 price tag is a bit much for me right now .
the acerbis ones on the pic above are the ones i have on, only blue and they look sweet along with a blue bar pad and grips.... anyway i have them fitted in exactly the same position as pats. just waiting for the indicators and new tail tidy to arrive....
