anyone encountered this problem
rear caliper mount corroded onto rear wheel spindle ?
its a pain to adjust the chain,anyone had this problem and if so how did you free it off ?

had to have my tyre changed with the rear caliper etc still mounted to the rear wheel,guy was not impressed

yeh my 89 was like this.. its a bitch. I eventually hacksawed the axle. I advise you to tray everything before doing that as an axle is £30 and the spacer is £15..

get the wheel off then put some penetrating oil down the axle into the mount and hope for the best.. might take a few days!

I tried everything.. brute force was the winner after I had to bash it out caliper mount side (need to take the disc off to do that aswell!)

they are known to sieze if you dont relube axle everytime you adjust chain!

Get some heat in there if you can, use a blow-torch etc but be careful you dont start any fires! lol
