i bought LED indys, and when i connected them all up whenever i turned em on they all flashed at the same time really fast, my m8s did the same on his bike so he bought an LED relay, and his worked fine, so i bought a relay that ive fitted it today, but all four are still flashing, at the right pace but all at the same time.
so i randomly tried two bulb indys on the front, and 2 LED indys on the back, and it works exactly how it should left does left and right does right.
no idea why, so they can be like that for the time being but i hate the bulb ones lol so has anyone got any ideas of what to try??
ive tried switching the positive around, not worked, same effective
hi mate theres 2 wires to each indicator,1 is live,1 is earth, earth (normally being black) and live being colour(brown/green),this will be standard colours although if you have chinese indys the colours may differ eg green yellow etc, anyways there not much that can go wrong when fitting. do the left front and back or right front and back, as they are connected that way, not front l&r and back l&r, if they flash out of sink the wires are in the wrong way
hmmm :/ im not to sure about that, with a normal relay all four flashed quickly, now ive got this LED relay, all four flash at the rightish pace :/ doing my head in!!!
woll you will be fine, if it messes around just put it back, doesnt take long at all, the only reason i didnt just put mine back because my dad kicked one while getting on the bike and broke it and 2 bulbs went lol, i dont indy bulbs, not had good look with them had to buy 2 new ones if id have bothered with em it would have been 4 lol
DTR crazy got these http://ukih.merchantrunglobal.com/ImageHosting/ViewImage.aspx?GlobalID=1004&MerchantID=10905&ImageID=222&DisplaySize=-1. And these but i don't like em http://images.idealhere.com/AM03-07-0039/001.jpg
this is the 1st ones you like, i think these indys are really good, they looked smart on my old dt and im actually in the process of getting another set for my ccm, these ones dont need an extra relay and they cheap as chips, i like the fact that when you look at rear indicators when sat on the bike riding, you can actually see if its flashing or not
Well found out my battery must of been a bit flat cos i started it up and they all flashed, but they all flash so when i turn them on for going left they all light up like hazards anybody know how to fix this?? Ps need to know before it goes dark :D
Great just gotta wait for it to come now :) i thought i was the only one that said thats the badger :D ive had some reet queer looks when ive said it :D
i took the bulb out the dash board thing, works perfect im guna solder up an LED to it this week, dont need it but just better to have it just in case i forget had a long time with no indys, will be hard to get use to using them again haha.
noooo theres many of us around haha ive had some weird looks to, class expression, raises eye brows like a treat.
ben will we need to put resistor in or not? and craig have you put tried the different resistances? I thought i didn't use the dash board light but obviously i do cos i forget to turn them off now lol.
