my high beam filament has blown,
was just gonna buy a normal halogen one, anyone think these are actually any good?
want a blue/white tinge not a yellow one lol

any views? or just pointless lol?

What age is your dt? Mines a 2000 dtr and it has a big round bulb not one of them in it dont know if it matters but just thought i'd let you know just incase its the wrong bulb.

yeah mines the same as yours, went down to the shop to get a normal bulb instead cuz thats not the blue im after, i want a HID blue not a blue blue.
i dont see how that bulb will fit tbh!

hey chaps.. have u got the fat bulb 40/45w on your bikes. Known as the P45t

They do a P45T halogen. I have this already on my DTR as the older type bulbs are just to dim.

try the new style at 60/55W..

sarelliteone nice shout, i wouldnt recomend 55w or higher etc as it sucks the juice from your alternator causing poor running and lack of top speed

no mate smile.gif but just said the same to pleb, he had the same problem he bought a 55w bulb and he lost like 10 mph, he took the bulb out and everything went back to normal smile.gif its nice having a stronger bulb but it does suck juice, best to get a better headlight unit than standard smile.gif

yeh mate hes not lieing when the bulb was in it was not getting over 65. bulb blew and suddenly i can do 75 :) xx

haha kk.

well if im honest, i havent noticed any difference in the 2.
maybe il get a normal bulb, give it a test, they only cost like 2 quid
