DEP Rusting!!!!!

I know there has been a few topics on this with the dep front pipe which seems to rust everytime it poxy rains, and to be honest I am getting fed up with it, My exhaust is off at the moment cos I am gonna get as much rust off, right underneath then I was thinking of painting/spraying it black to try keeping the rust off, I know there is a pic on this site someone has done it, and I think it looks good, anyone else think it looks good? does anyone know the right high temp spray/paint to use? so of course it will take the heat!!!!!

yep comes in matt and gloss finish and shines like new, top restorers use it as its the best for motorcycles you can get to be fair, make sure you use high heat tho or it will flake off on exhaust lol, does do a very nice finish, everything ive ever sprayed has come out like new, and i mean literally smile.gif

craig your best to wait for the gutted standard to be fair as your old one wont sell as well when you've painted it, also the paint will be tougher on a standard than the big one due to metal compound type smile.gif

All sorted cheers lads got the spray on order will do it this weekend, depending on poxy rain, will only do the front pipe will leave the back dep pipe silver, as that doesnt seem to rust, as you can tell I hate any rust on my bike lol. and the front dep pipe just loves to rust in the rain so quick, so sorting it I will smile.gif
