0000-Silkolene-2T-Comp-2-Injector.jpg

i use this stuff, was recommended by 2 different garages.
around £9 a bottle

if this helps this is from the website:
COMP 2 INJECTOR
Synthetic ester based 2-stroke engine oil, with Electrosyntec Technology, for high performance motorcycles. Advanced, low smoke formula reduces engine wear, provides outstanding reliability and combats piston seizure, ring sticking, plug fouling and carbon build-up. Ideal for all modern sports and off road 2-stroke power units, ensuring maximum performance and reliability. Can also be used as a premix in trials and road machines and is particularly recommended for cold weather use, or where a lower viscosity oil is required.

Specifications
  • API TC
  • JASO FC & FD
  • ISO-L-EGD

Both the garages said the same to me, putting a higher grade oil than this is pointless, only a RS125 or similar will need the more expensive type.

i use the same as craigbulmer, have done for every 2 stroke ive had and never had any probs smile.gif jaso and iso etc is designed for less clutch slip and moving heat away from the hard wearing areas smile.gif not every oil offers this, especially for under £10, value for money and recommended smile.gif

you dont need to do anything if you have a dep, if your using another exhaust system there is no need to rejet unless it is running poor, if your bike is running fine, leave it smile.gif

alot of people think putting a dep pipe on meens you need to upjet, its not the case smile.gif

ive used that comp 2 since august (when i passed my cbt), my dt was run on ****ty 50cc scooter oil b4, made an instant difference to my bike, runs so clean compared.

its best value for money really, comp 2 plus is too expensive and is said to do nothing more. plus ive ran my bike all winter on it its been absolutely fine smile.gif

dtmo, have you ever tried the 2 seperate? there is a big difference, you can feel the way the engine runs, also cheap grade oil will ruin your engine, there is a couple above to choose from, your choice, failing that go to a local garage and see what they have in stock for your dtr smile.gif
