Ok i went and got some new grips, the woman in the shop says to me "oh yeah they just slide straight on" so i took the hand gaurds off and cut the old ones away only to find i needed 'Arms like Garth' to put the new ones on, i'm threaders with it now, just so i know for the future, is  there some speical technique to getting these friggers on ?

lol, i started this on Friday and still haven't got the bars all the way in, these grips are tighter than a Catholic Nun ! hump.gif

Vey very annoying job , trying doing it every two day for a few months .

Trick is to twist and push on at the same time . A LOT of banging the end to get it on

take them off then put a tiny bit of grease , try spacing them out a bit before going on aswell

TBH though those grips are pretty crap man , they'll go brown in no time . Much nicer ones on the market
