Orete cheers for the replys, its off road at min tho, clutch kept slipping and juddering. I took it apart and some of the rings are knackered and the damper ring had all broken in the clutch, iam not sure if the bike actually needs this damper ring but iam gonna replace it anyway with new rings:). Anyway whats top speed u have all had out ur dt's, ?
Yeh mine screams at 80mph lol, yeh always gd to have bottom end power, , no i dnt mean the piston rings, its just had a re bore and new piston put in, iam on about a ring that is on the clutch, its called a damper ring, when i took my clutch apart that had all come apart, its bk together tho now new clutch:), just need to get exhaust on and that then iam sorted.
Did ur rings go, or has it seized on u?. Gd luck rebuilding it. Ive put this exhaust on it 2day(the one in the pic, and it wnt run right with it, ive even put a bigger jet in it too i put 230 in and its not getting full power, it runs worse with this exhaust compared to the standard pipe. My mate also has a dt and hes ran gd with it and he put the 230 jet in, i dnt understand why hes works with it and mine wnt when everything the same. Can any one help?
the black pipe up the top isnt standard, the pipe you have on there is a standard copy pipe, not sure if its restricted or what. have you checked the power valve alignment, and also is your powervalve motor driven or just pinned? if so what position.
hmmmm not sure beyond that, someone will know soon lol
Yeh the black pipe on the pictures above, one is a big one pipe which my bike dnt run right with it and the other one i dunno what it is but my bike runs gd with it. Yeh my powervalve is on the servo motor and its align correctly. its just weird how a exhaust can affect how it runs so much. i bet if i put a dep pipe on my bike it wouldnt like it. Hope somone will know what the problem is.
