If you can find one you'd be better off putting an X caliper in there as the design is much better - just make sure you get all the spacers as well because they are different.

x caliper is the same on the re from 05 or 06 onwards. mine is of an 07. and they are much better designed. I think it was to stop pistons seizing and wrecking seals..

only need the one spacer, the one that fits against the caliper mount. be warned these are £15 each. I had to have mine shipped over from yam in japan!

great i manage it the split it somehow :@ scamaha want £42 for a set ffs. they dont sell seal kits just a full rebuild kit so i got another on order off wemoto £28 :( i might get on my bike before next winter

Once again feckin help me :@ i cant do this feckin seal arrrgghhhhhh doinb my tree in. scamaha said that it will take them 2 hours to do ???? i mean wtf its off the bike and has one seal in already they just need to fit the new dust seal and push the piston in hardly 2 hrs work i mean if i had asked them to take it off the bike and do the whole lot yeh maybe but they dont. And the local mobile bike mechanic is that busy he can't get to me for 2 weeks at the quickest argh ffs im pished off one bleedin seal stopping me getting on the road

never raplaced pistons or seals cos its easy just buying a complete caliper and bolt on...
