I'm looking for a full system that's going to de-restrict the bike without breaking the bank.
I've seen a 'Big One' full system for £155, I'd value your opinion on whether it's a good deal or not and what sort of reputation 'Big One' systems have?
The current exhaust system's in a right state so I've got to replace the lot
My 2c, haven't heard many good things about this setup - it being mainly power loss and weak performance gains.
I've learnt from being here that best combo is a Dep tail pipe with gutted standard front pipe as Frogboy suggests. Same performance gains as a full Dep if not better at a fraction of the cost.
btw: i had a full big one system, it actually gives a nice kick when going into the powerband! but i think that might have something to do with being **** in lower revs ! but anyways its not an all bad pipe! gutted stock is much better tho!
if you get stuck, i have a big one expansion here you can use, barely any rust and not holes. £40 if NEED it, then stick it on ebay later on .. get a stock pipe tho ;)
dont bother with bigone.. my tail pipe is still good after 3 years but the front pipe rotted with 2 years.. deps aint much better either.. the bigone is stronger than the dep though.. as for power differences, the dep feels like the power is shifted higher up the rev range whereas the bigone has the power a little lower.. get a solid stock front pipe for £30, gut it then get a dep tail for £40 (alu and wont rot!).. dep performance the cheap way.. can even paint the stock pipe silver so it "looks" like a dep!
