no i havnt got the bolts yet, done the seat cover today and it was a bitch to fit stretching it round that curve was really hard, also the tail tidy looks like its going to be hard going to a mates tomorrow aso he can weld a couple of bars across the back to bolt it onto then it should look ok

conn you wont need to weld bars on mate, just screw it into your rear fender, if you use stainless bolts that dont rust it will look fine.

My tail tidy screws thru the rear fender aswell dont think you will need bars welding in tbh.

My rear fender decal is stuck on over top of the bolts so you cant see them anyway.

i was thinking of doing that tbh with you but didnt want to ruin the look is the rear fender going to be strong enough to hold the weight of the tail tidy, numberplate and L plate

Tbh my tail tidy does wobble about abit as there isnt much support!! Thats what has caused the stress marks on my rear fender.

I cant tell when im riding but my mates have said it wobbles about when they are following me.

It will defo hold the weight of it all but i would say it might wobble a bit. On my bike tho the small frame thing that holds the original number plate bracket on and i think are grab rails for pillions has been removed. Are you leaving that on there?

will get pics up 2moro as iv still got to sort out my L plate, i left the grab rail on the exhaust side as i use this to pick/drag the back end round to get it into my shed lol, also the tail tidy light is really small just waiting to get pulled for it now lol

Edit: also i attached it to the rear fender in the end and then used some cable ties to attach it to the frame and its solid doesnt flap at all

Good idea with the cable ties!! Will be good to see some pics. Ive just ordered me a new tail tidy and wanna fit it so it doesnt wobble!

Just wondering what ppl have done for graphics for their hpires rear fenders? I wanna order one but dont want to leave it plain without graphics.

Have had a look on d&d's website but they only come in full sets and i only want the rear fender decal!!!

Got my rear fender today. Fitted it along with my new acerbis tail tidy. Was easy to fit, had to drill 3 holes in the top for the tail tidy and 2 each side for the fixings to the frame.

Anyone interested in seeing the pics
