I got the HP kit for the dt my rear fender doesn't quite fit perfectly it bolts under the seat and one of the rear side bolts lines up but the left side doesn't :(

Cant you make it line up? I had to pull and bend mine slightly to get them to line up.

I have been trying to bend the rear pole part "no idea what it is called" to get it to line up, gave up and opened a bottle of wine, think i'll get the hammer out tomorrow :D

You mean the rear part of the frame? I didnt have to bend that at all! Only had to bend the fender a bit to get the tabs lined up to the screw holes then marked and drilled them.

oh thinking about it I think I remember having problems removing the rear bolt the hole part might be threaded weird, I shall drill that first before hammer :D

2004? wouldn't that be an RE? if so i dont think they will fit. Not 100% sure but i don't think its possible to get a new rear fender for a dt re

Has anyone tried to fit a aftermarket rear fender on DT 2004- onwards ?
Does the yz fit without many modifications ?  I really dont like the stock one :D

Someone tried to fit a new rear fender on an X.. same as RE but supermoto, not sure youve seen them.

Anyway, didnt work lol

i emailed him asking whats the lowest price he could do me for these items ... full panel set including hpires rear fender side panels tank panels also a full monster energy graphics kit he emailed back sayin £175 including postage to the uk with tracking number .. not a bad price at all

Had my HPires rear fender arrive today,  he put up the dispatched thing on eBay on the 12th and it arrived well packaged this morning!! 

Very well priced considering it had to come from Europe!  Didn't expect to have to drill the holes but that took all of 2 minutes :)  In total it took about 10-15 minutes to get it on and secured with the tail tidy.

Will be getting my new Rad Scoops from this guy for sure!

yeah man i know that does look pretty s**t but that had had all the rear handle and frame parts taken off so looks flimsy :/

and as for the rear pannels, can the older pannels be made to fit a RE? :D

Not too sure tbh, I want an old rear fender for our bike to see if i can modify it with some fiberglass or sumthing, see what i come up with.

I might compare some panels with bradders DTR as hes not too far away from me.

Yeah comparing the pannels would be a good idea mate, if you do mate throw up some pictures on here so I can see if I can think of any methods to 'mod' it ;)
