LOL dt is what 25bhp at best derestriced, YZ motor is a highy tuned race ready engine producing in the upper 30's bhp wise. Mounting points are complety different etc etc, No similarites what so ever

oay thanks maybe i should of worded it different, its just i have the oppurtunity to buy a YZ engine and i wanted to know wether i would be able to use it for spares for my bike !

as said no.. they are completely different.. however the ktm 125 sting (which you wont find in the UK) are as quick as the YZ I wouldve thought and its a DTR engine tuned.. about 28-30bhp...

same as a TZR125RR or something, rare to find anywhere, 33 bhp.
started life as a DTR engine
has a different head and barrel

i dout it has 33 hp more like 25 hell it has a 26mm dt carb and u aint gona get any wear nere 33hp with that
