You need to get 3 wires as an extension and link , and 6 bits to crimp on . 3 spades to fit inside the loom end (pic1) and 3 female bits to fit onto the headlamp . Make sure you leave the wires long enough to fit and move .
Join the 2 black (earth) wires and attach them to the connector on the left. Join the 2 yellow (full beam) wires and attach them to the connector on the right. the Green (dip beam) goes to the connector in the middle.
the little side light is pretty simple as you can see from the pic, just connect it up as i have.
Hmm this is strange i have connected the headlight up fine as the pic (cheers rudi!) :), Cant test it yet as waiting for a new gasket for the engine cover buuuuuuuttttt i dont seem to have any wiring for a sidelight :s ehh? cant even find and connections on the loom :s Do u need a sidelight for MOT???
Got it all sorted thankgod and did it myself read the manual god knows how many times then the penny dropped hahaha so got sidelight working now......Pic below, of course stuck a cheeky blue one in to go with my blue neons
Am fittin a polisport to my dtx in a few days can anyone tell me difinativly which wire goes to which terminal as the two ppls wiring seems to be in conflict ! see above in thread ?? also what size spade connectors are they many thanks Doo
