yea mine have started to get a bit scrapy though, may get the 2009 ones I think they are really nice, I want to get a dep expansion chamber, new front light, front fender and new indicators then I should be sorted...

also need to clean the bottom of my engine as the idiot who last owned it put the outlet tube/pipe from the carb on to the engine and the idiot I am did not notice so now the underneath has black sticky stuff all over it, will sort it when i get money for new expansion chamber.

how do u gut them? one of my mates has a dt with full DEP system and it has a bit more pull when the power valve hits than mine... would gutting it make it the same ? is it risky? and tbh i love the chrome expansion chamber looks wayyyyyyyy too nice :)

Lovely bike mate the dnd graphics really set it off!

Welcome to the fourum aswell buddy.

Heres a thread about gutting the exhaust, hope it helps. It isnt really risky just need to be able to weld or know someone that can.

Heres a thread on how to check your power valve is set up correctly might be worth checking yours if your mate has a bit more pull in the PV.

it makes it more powerful than a dep pipe mate ...

to gut it you cut along the fattest part of the pipe (theres already a weld to cut across anyways)
then theres 2 half moons that you get out somehow..

then in the beginning of the exhaust just as it comes off the engine theres a big washer that your need to grind out ...

motorbike garages wont do it for you .. engineering places would, welders etc etc. Cost you about £30 to do in total including paint if you had someone do it for you..
