hey its a 89 dtr all original so imma try sm it its also having alot of new parts paint and top end rebuild.
list of new parts are:

acerbis front and rear fender
polaris mmx headlight
tail tidy (to be decided)
smaller led indys
new grips
new gaitors
brake hoses handle bars
speedo

17 inch rims

nope, your best bet is to try and find some rims off the newer sm dt's 2004 onwards dtx

DTX's use Excell rims , if you can find them snap them up .

Highly unlikely mate . give Hagon a call , they do their own rims . If you're planning on getting them built Hagon will do that too .

No I mean I don't think it will stand out as much as it should , I love candy red btw . You only see a small bit of the frame when it's all together and I'm thinking that may be money wasted . I dunno I always think frames should be bright , unused DT colours like orange , yellow and green . But that's my opinion and it's not my bike , make sure to get pics up .

I have an example pic somewhere but cant find it , some guy painted his frame with glitter flakes and it looked the tits when just a frame , when it went on the bike you couldnt see siht lol

Another guy tried fancy colouring on a DT and managed to make it look gay .

End of the day it's still an offroad bike , too fancy will ruin it . IMHO

frame looks alright :) and plastics look nice too :D
