hi guys, new here, had my engine out because the gears were playing up and now its running with are the gear working perfectly but i think the clutch is unbalanced because when i rev it it vibrates quite bad, does anyone know what the symtons are if my clutch is unbalanced or if its anything else thats wrong with it
When you put the clutch back together, did you evenly space the plates all the way round? If you look at each plain plate, it has a cutaway and bump in it, these have to be evenly spaced (every 72 degrees in the DT) or you can get as you describe.
The cutaways are there to in effect throw each plate out of balance, throwing it outwards under centrifugal force, helping reduce clutch noise.

yea i spaced them as evenly as i could, now after i put the engine in after about 3-4000rpm the engine vibrates quite bad and when u ride it at about 7000rpm the bike loses all its power. also overall it does seem to be as fast as it was, power valve maybe?
and no i didn't split it

Did you at any time remove the primary drive gear on the crankshaft, or the balancer shaft drive gear wich mates with it? If yes, did you realign the punchmarks when rebuilding it?
