hey guys,

i have just bought a yamaha dtr 125 sm 2007 as i passed my cbt 2 weeks ago, however second week on the bike and some doosh bag cut the corner when i was on on my way to work, now my face is fudged and my leg very soar, to top this the whole front end of the bike is monged so i was wondering where the best place to pick up forks and yolks for the bike would be and what is all compatible with the frame i have.

help would be very appreciated.

Sorry to hear about this mate, can you claim off his insurance? I didnt have a crash too long ago, my front ends abit gone aswell.

Yours is an SM so you can either replace them with more SM forks and keep your wheel (whats the wheel like by the way? Shouldnt be buckled, sm wheels can put up with more) or you can go for the cheaper option and change for an off road set up........ Id go for the sm option tbh, search around ebay for them, they come up but they sell for quite abit.

You probably wont need to change the yokes, get some pics up so we can gauge how bad it is.

Btw, the yokes twist around like mine were, so your forks MIGHT not need replacing just respraying, i need to replace him anyway cuz mine are pitted and leaking fluid.

Good luck
