Hi guy's its gouder here, baisicaly i hav just recently purchesed my yam DT125R (H reg). When i bought this for some reason the person took the original indicators off,( strange reason its not a cr) Any way i have them here and have tryed to wire them up to the correct connections and i have nothing.First ov all i have to have the bike running to get the electrics to work but even when its running they are not flashing what so ever. the bike is currently stripped down at the moment (engine) for a cleanse port and pollish. but in theroy i should hav electrics working without the engine running. i have followed the indicator loom right up to the switch but my head lights work:S i would apprieciate any help to get this bike bak on the road thank you for your time.
My mot guy says you dont need indicators if it's only suitable for 1 person, so what i do is take off my rear footpegs and indicators and im away.. But yeah check the indicator relay, check if you have any volts going up towards the indicator with a multimeter, Steve
the bikes running lights etc wont work without starting your bike as the lights run off the alternator on the pre 97 models, battery and main fuse is the 2 you want to check about the indicators,to find main fuse it will be conected to the red wire coming from the battery, also what is the voltage on the battery?have you checked it with a multimeter?
