So I bought my Yam DT as my first bike, it started off as a complete state, and it seems as though none of the previous owners have looked after it. So yeah, pictures tell a story better than words...

Right, this is what it looked like when I bought it:

So, the work began. First thing I did was spray a load of de-greaser over the back end before I replace the chain and sprocket:

Off came the back wheel:

Chain and front sprocket came off:

Then while the wheel was off I took the opportunity to give it a good clean:

The stickers that the previous goon that owned the bike looked total crap, so they were next to come off:

This was before I cleaned the sticky mess off:

And after:

That's pretty much as it is up to date, the callipers are off and being cleaned at the moment, and new set of pads in them. I'll upload more pictures as I make more progress. If anyone has any advise or ideas please share :) thanks for reading!

Yeah I know, the joys of living on the Isle of Man eh? I will be doing that eventually, but at the moment I'm trying to get it on the road asap.
