any one know how much lateral play is ok on conrod ? measured at little end it moves abt 2mm sideways
not got any feeler guages !!

You can't really check it with any accuracy without feeler gauges (which are only about£5) but 2mm movement at the little end sounds fine, as long as it doesn't move up and down...

cheers chap no movement vertically at all found a score mark on barrel but nothing too bad concidering its done 21.000 miles will post pics soon ..

any idea of how to check gap n what the tolerences are for it  will get some feelers ! cheers DAVE
