Correct for a 2001 carb, with the tip of needle pointing down standard position is 4th groove from top

How many positions does that needle have anyway, only ever seen the needle in my carb which has 3.

Am i right fellas in case someone disagrees.

Bottom of needle is pointy, top of needle has grooves. Pointy end facing floor count 4 grooves down from the top.

Position 1 is closest to the top, position 5 is closest to the bottom.

Cool biggrin

Oh yeah didn't mean to cause confusion btw haha, carbs after 2004 appear to be slightly different with the needles having just 3 grooves.

Nothing wrong with yours though all is good
