took my barrel for a rebore theyve told me to get a 57.50mm piston ... i keep cumin across pistons with 4rings on ebay :/ 1 is a wavey ring and i think the other 3 are standard rings... are they any good?
+ yep but hopefully after iv done this rebuild it will run sweet.. with a re-bore,gaskets,piston,powervalve .... the rattleing was cumin from the powervalve in the end so got a new 1 + seals :) ...
for 500 miles use small throttle openings, starting off with a very low maximum rev limit and every hundred miles allow yourself a extra 1000 rpm, you'll get varied advice if you ask other people though, this method has always worked for me and i ride hard once its run in - you've got a round slide carb on that havn't you? i had a 150 main jet running it in with the powervalve pegged open and found after that was too lean still

cheers mate i have trouble not giving it sum lol spose i will have to go easy for once.. iv broke my hand so that shud slow me down abit as its my throttle hand lol ... what jet would u suguest? mine will be pegged fully once its run in propily :)
if your running it in on one of the restricted settings then standard may be okay, with it pegged open i'd suggest 170-180 is a good starting point, mine was best about 180 but it differs from bike to bike, bit of trial and error i'm afraid
or if you wanted to save on trouble the jetting for the later flatslide carbs is well documented on here if you got one of them instead, and its a little bigger so more power, thats the way i'm going now
Running mine in was 500 miles of mentally challenged slowness. Seriously man the amount of times I wanted to give it some was just too much sometimes I had to pull over lol
...well maybe not that bad but you get what i mean
Is this the third/second rebore for the bike, standard bore is 56mm i think.

il try the 180 once i pin it open... my mates got a flatside i can have so il have it of him and try it out see what happens :)
