Ok...so bought new mirrors and renthal bars, and a few other bits ;) lol, and I've stripped the bar down...only thing left still connected is front brake fluid box and lever. However...bolts have been rounded off, deffo no coming off with standard measures. Any suggestions? Annoyingly i have had a few beers and am now feeling very tired! My best mate has some ideas mind...

Oh and my best friend is a hammer. Obviously I don't have any real friends, hence why I'm sat in my house alone with a bike in bits in my living room on a saterday night...

you can get sockets that bite into rounded off heads on bolts, very easy to use
or
get a pair of grips on them
and then
if the grips fail and the bolts just look worse then drill the heads off them, take the bar clamp off and then because the bolts no longer under pressure the bit of thread should wind out easy with the grips unless its really siezed in
in that case
drill a hole carefully down the middle of the bolt and get a extracter in there
if that doesn't work
drill the bolt right out and tap a new thread/helicoil

Drill the heads off the bolts to separate the clamps, then once split get the vice-grips on the lengths of studs that are left.
