my power valve is pinned fully open at the moment. i have a 03 dt is mine fitted with a servo . if so what are the advantages of pinning it open and how would it behave if i put it back to how it should be. the bike has a 15t sproket on the front and still manages to pull about 85mph at the moment.

If you have two cables on the side of the cylinder going to a motor under the petrol tank then it's assisted.

Pinning it open gives you a mental powerband. Nothing up to about 6,500 - 7,000 rpm, then BANG!

A servo assisted power-valve gives you a much more user-friendly engine, but nothing more top-end power-wise.

All in all, if you have a servo I'd recommend you use it.
