hey all had my power valve pinned open was crap on bottom end and good on top so took the exhaust off and looked up just to check at it was full open so i decided to turn the power valve quater of a turn so u could see the valve hanging oer the port results were far better better bottom end but stil got the full top end power bit strange lol was going through my gears 1st was 25mph 2nd 45mph n 3rd half way throught at 65mph so thought it was out a bit so got a friend in a car to test and results were same :) but still confused how i got bottom and top end power with no restrictions and no spluuter as i heard if u close the power valve it splutters on top end any 1 else come across this i dont have a dt but its a derbi senda with a dt125r engine hence no power valve servo

mine is the manual powervalve an wheneva mines been closed iv found it to have better top end 75-80mph closed its just a slow climb geting there.. when iv had it fully opend its mega fast for about 15minutes and then my piston + rings have gone.. im defo geting a servo..you should get a dt loom on your derbi and sum how fit a servo
hi mate i have the full loom on my bike already but u dont have any place to bolt the servo so i sold it when my power valve was fully open it bogged till about 6000rpm then went like a rocket but now since i close it quater of a turn its mental on bottom end and top end i would say its faster now wit it slightly closed than fully open
