Yeh if not the only thing you can do, is to buy some brand new back panels should be cheapish on eBay mate

yeah i was thinking that probably cheaper than the money i spent on paint and sand paper and the lacquer. Does anyone know what paint is on the swing arm and forks? i need some to touch up the paint work

Im not sure mate, but if you go to Halford's they can mix paint's to get the exact match for you it's like £3.00 for a little tub which will do perfect ;)

Good Job mate however that huge oversized number plate just kills it, get some show plates, that will make it look much better :)

The battery or the plates?
If plates than eBay is a good place, if the battery eBay is worth the try.

sweet coos mate and yeah i've always loved exc's . Bartex Yeah I was talking about the battery as a maintenance free battery seems like a good choice. Number plate is a good idea but the met police love to give you points for nothing and can take my bike and sell it auction and ban me for 2 years for next to nothing, So I'm trying to make look as nice as possible with out causing grief.

Also does anyone have the same rear light as me ? the screws holding the actual light on the tail tidy decided to undo themselfs and fall out the first day I got it lol, also when the rear light is on and I press the brake it makes next to no difference does anyone else have this problem ?

Also got a new rear plastic one of those hpi ones or whatever they are called, thinking of just putting my rear L plate on there like lots of people on here do, anyone that does do that have they had any problems?

And I'm going to change engine oil soon is there a motorcross oil or racing oil that is worth the money what the best oil basically ?
