hey just wondering if anyone knew how much travel thedtr front forks have, looked everywhere but can only find the spec for the dtx, need to know how much so i can figure if i can fettle the forks a bit to get more travel, cheers
found the answer, looked in haynes (dunno why i didn't think of that in the first place) and it says 10.6 inch, though had one of the forks off earlier and measured the travel and in reality its only 8 inchs!!!
np it needed measuring anyway in the end because the specs for the bike are so drastically wrong lol. the fork sliders would probably hit the bottom yoke when fully compressed if they actually had 10.6 inch travel and were mounted how the manual says!
