My dtr 1999

Hi chaps below is my 1999 DTR which i have owned since november, i use it everyday to get to work and literally every weekend to do the local trials biggrin

the bike is pretty standard, it has been fully de-restircted, has done 24,000 miles, has had the piston etc done by previous owner. it runs fantastic considering it is used for 20miles everyday! it has a full DEP pipe, Hpries rear fender, Tail tidy and some smaller indicators.

i plan on doing the following to it;

new front fender (ideas?)
Polisport Headlight
Possible HID kit
Digital Speedo
Re-upholstered seat
and also some tiny indicators i saw at the mcn london show on friday, you can hardly see them!

i want to make it a real smart bike such as the new headlight and speedo but at the same time you wont see me polishing the plastics because come weekend its a work horse round the trials.

my mate from work (his bike is also below) also has a DT and we do the trails together along with my dad who has a husky wr250, anyway enough talking, some pictures

cheers guys, if you havent done offroading you really have to give it a go. but its not easy by a long shot

im from sittingbourne in kent, there are loads of trails around here. we do 40miles of offroading most of the time, but you can do plenty more! i have yet to make any dents in my DEP, the ones on there are from the previous owner and whenever i drop it, it falls on the right hand side

i forgot to mention i plan on making a bash plate as well

I have done off-roading before mate, i had a kx80 when i was 13 (go damn scarybiggrin) and my mate's got a kx 125 that i have used alot of times before (dyno'd 38 bhp, aslo scary as hellaww)

I came of my DT, and had to buy all new plastic's so i cba with any off-roading lol biggrin

really want to get some bits for the dt now lol,

starting with the head light, i want to get the Polisport MMX headlight as it includes the running light but as you will see from the pictures above i am only on a cbt (hopefully not for too long though) and if i get a black headlight it will look stupid with the white L plate sticker. so im thinking would the bike look good if i got a white headlight for it? or would it just look stupid? also does anyone know if this uses the H4 buld fitting? want to make sure i can get a HID kit with this headlight
