ive just had 2 new michilen ac10's (very knobbley tyres) fitted to my bike and it is really unstable when i hit 70 i get small shakes and it just feels really unstable around corners, i was wondering will it go back to noraml after ive done a few 100 miles on them ??
erm, ok, im not an expert on riding knobbleys but..... i should imagine they will always be like that even when they've been run in, the knobbleys ive got have had thousands of miles on them and are still pretty damn solid. they're not made for road use, let alone 70 on the road. :O not gonna lie, my bike feels unstable at 70 even with SM. lol. think my knobbleys might ve the ac10's ill have a look what they are in the morning. but yh, to answer the question, theyll probably always be like that...
will always be like that evan when uv got chunks missing and are ready for a tyre change, they are crap on road my mate had the same set on his and i thought it felt horrible .. maxxis do a good road legal enduro tyre
yeah knobbleys will shake the fillings out your teeth mate :P it the fact that they are slightly too far apart so when rolling at good speed it will feel like your riding on rumble strips.
i got the maxxis on mine mate nobblys are just as big as the ac10s and there fine goin 70 on the road yours may get a tiny bit better when worn down more need more than 100miles though
