Old 1993 Engine referb
Permalink

Just dug out my old 1993 engine, looks a shambles at the mo, been burried in god knows what for a looong time.

Cleaning it up, respraying it etc atm, fitted her to my bike yesterday to see how it goes, and my god, she's a beauty, so hopefully referb goes all well so I can use this engine, it's MUCH better than the 2003 one I've been using at the mo

Here she is in her all glory and dirtyness:

just have to mega clean up bike, fit it, and see how she rolls.

she's in.. just a mega shame the rest of the bike isn't upto as "nicer standards" as the engine is now, maybe the plastics will cover that up... or perhaps take out engine and redo everthing I thinks

Got her rebuilt, looks pretty sweet, just need new plastics/rear plastic and tail tidy then scrub her up as she is.

yeah.. this was on ebay I did buy it dude lived about 20mins from me, and realised after I'd had it checked over that like 70% of it was b/s appart from the fact it was "fast" thats about all that was good with the bike... also knocked him down to 950 for it (h) and haven't really spent much on it myself
