"burned out the horrible white stretch marks ya get within the blue plastics"

tripr, I know what ya mean about the stretch marks on the panels, but how do you mean by "burned them out?"

yeah i used a plumbers blowtorch m8 an just lightly run it all over the panels an youl see them restore the marks an shine the plasics up

be real carefull not to burn the panel though

( like i did on my other little project dt out back )it makes a right mess

never just burn the one spot keep the flame moving constantly

you are supposed to just use a heatgun i think but i didnt have one of them

Ah right am with ya, very clever, ya learn summat new every day cheers mate, must admit they are very flimsy, do anybody make thicker ones? i.e those on ebay from Portugal, has anybody bought any from them, and are they any thicker/stronger?

no worries m8 glad to help . Iv got all those saved in my ebay keep ummming about them it works out quite pricey though dont it for the lot.
i think mammoth just got a new tail from there though have a check m8
i built yatchs for 10 yrs so have thought of making up my own fibreglass moudings to knock out my own panels
i could do carbon fibre or kevlar ones to its the same process. but they would be more brittle the flimseyness is good really you can bend these panels in half an still use em.

That sounds interesting mate! carbonfibre/fibreglass :P

And yeah the panels from Portugal are great, Phillipe is a good guy i'm ordering a full set off him soon.....was getting alot more things aswell but it works out cheaper if i get the other stuff elsewhere, but for panels defo good buy.

Fibreglass/carbon fibre is good, but I was thinking more scooter panel thickness/strength, yes a little more brittle, but more substantial in my opinion.

Removed cleaned an painted the radiator an footpegs

put a genuine base gasket on my top end  ( loads thicker than the green ones )

it says "Please note: LED bulbs are not as bright as standard incandescent bulbs but they are longer lasting and have a more vivid colour "

wtf my light is half the size of the original and 4 times brighter, it blinds people behind

acerbis and tnt ones are plastic so wont rust
