before 3.jpghad some time on the weekend to sort out the exhaust
wire wheel , sanding painting makes the difference i think

thats great. :D just done mine this weekend. (gonna get pics up on my pics thread soon). Just interested as to what paint you used and how many coats? Ive used BBQ paint and wire brushed, then wire wool'd, Then a couple of light layers, sanded, more layers, sanded again and then some more layers... So its got a fair bit of paint on. :D

Started with bench grinder (wire wheel attachment)then went at it with wire cup brush in a drill to get into all the small bits. Two Coates of exhaust paint (will get the name next time I'm in the shed) one coat of grey undercoat and two silver metal hammerite for the guard.About three hours work in total but worth the end result I think.I do have a dep front pipe to go on eventually but must mig weld the front and de rust (job for a rainy day)
